Prince Harry has now returned to Canada to be with his family. It was said that the royal-born Prince was spotted deplaning a commercial flight at the Victoria International Airport last Thursday.

After the Commonwealth Day service held at Westminster Abbey, he stayed for a couple of days in the United Kingdom to finalize a few matters concerning his and his wife's exit on March 31. While Prince Harry was expected to return next month to his home country, recent reports revealed that it may take a while before the British public sees the Duke of Sussex again in London.

According to Express UK, Prince Harry will reportedly be at this year's London Marathon, which was supposed to occur on April 26. Aside from the fact that he is the Patron of the London Marathon Charitable Trust, he has always been in attendance since 2012.

However, due to the recent series of unfortunate events, it was announced that the event has been postponed. Instead, the annual marathon will now reportedly take place on October 4.

As stated, the decision to delay the London Marathon was all because of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the United Kingdom. During the announcement, UK totaled 798 confirmed cases of the virus contraction with ten deaths. But, as of the time of writing, the death toll reportedly doubled as it already reached 21 with a total of 1140 individuals who tested positive for the virus.

The event director, Hugh Brasher shared that the decision to postpone this year's run was "disappointing" not only for them but also to the participating runners and charities of the 2020 London Marathon. Even so, he said that public health is "priority."

He also reportedly thanked everyone who has supported the event including the City Hall, Transport for London, The Royal Parks, and BBC TV. It was further shared that he ensured all the participating individuals and entities that they will receive an official email "by the end of next week."

As per People, the London Marathon was one of the official events that Prince Harry was planning to attend after Megxit takes into effect at the end of the month. Aside from this, it was revealed that he will also attend this year's Invictus Games, which will reportedly take place in The Netherlands come the month of May.

Amid the continual cancellation of events and engagements, many are convinced that the Invictus Games might also get delayed. However, no confirmation has been heard yet about the matter.
