Prince Harry and Prince Andrew might be forced out of their retirement as working royals if Queen Elizabeth becomes positive for COVID-19. They might be asked to help out Prince William, who could be stepping up for his grandmother and father, Prince Charles, who is also in the high-risk category.

According to Yahoo News! procedures are in place when the Queen becomes ill to ensure that their royal duties continue. This means that Her Majesty's children and grandchildren are expected to step up, especially those in line to the throne who are over 21 years old.

Currently, the Queen and her heir, Prince Charles, are taking precautions against the coronavirus because they are over 70. Thus, as the second in line to the throne, Prince William might be made the placeholder if the worst case happens.

The third, fourth and fifth in line to the throne are Prince William's kids with Kate Middleton -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Because of their age, they are not expected to step up on their duties.

Royal expert Nigel Cawthorne said the Duke of Cambridge will be the physical presence of the British monarchy if the Queen and her heir will be indisposed. Prince Harry, as the sixth in line to the throne, could be made the second placeholder as the next adult in line to the throne. Cawthorne also said that he's sure Prince Harry would be more than delighted to help out Prince William while protecting Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth.

Meanwhile, Prince Andrew, as the eighth in line to the throne, might also be asked back as well to help the royal family. The Duke of York was prompted to retire in November because of his controversial friendship with the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

According to Mirror, Prince Andrew's daughter, Princess Beatrice, who is the ninth in line to throne, may be appointed the Counsellor of State just like her father. The York princess may also have to postpone her upcoming wedding if this public health crisis doesn't flatten the curve in the next few months.

The U.K. government advised the public to avoid going out or practice social distancing amid the ongoing pandemic. Thus, the royal family could also scale down on their royal engagements and reroute their face-to-face meetings with their patrons and charities differently.  As it is, Buckingham Palace said that changes have been made to the schedules of the royal family as a precaution against the coronavirus.
