Prince William and Kate Middleton made a royal visit to London Ambulance Service to personally thank its frontliners amidst the coronavirus outbreak. The royal couple is said to be now preparing for their future as the next king and queen consort of the monarchy after they upped their royal roles following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit.

In an unearthed report of New Idea from a 2019 Marie Claire article, the Cambridges are reportedly now adopting different privacy measures when the time comes that the Duke of Cambridge becomes the new king. The measure includes their home, where they built a 950-feet-long hedge around the garden of their Kensington Palace 1A apartment.

However, as the laurel hedges were only planted, it would still take some time before it would fully grow. But when the time comes that Prince William and Kate Middleton become the new king and queen, these hedges would surely be in full height. The two will be moving to Buckingham Palace when this happens, but they may also keep Kensington Palace as their home.

Meanwhile, Prince William asked the people of the United Kingdom to show their support for each other amidst the worsening case of coronavirus outbreak in the country. In a post on Instagram, National Emergencies Trust shared a video where he urged everyone to help others in need.

"Whenever and wherever adversity strikes, the people of the UK have a unique ability to pull together," he said. "The way that local communities support those affected shows the very best of our values and human nature."

Prince William and Kate Middleton also paid a visit to the London Ambulance Service to thank the first responders for their efforts during the coronavirus outbreak, USA Today noted. They met the hospital's staff and talked to its chief executive, Garrett Emmerson, to see how they dealt with the influx of calls that rose to five folds from usual.

The London Ambulance Service is part of the U.K.'s National Health Service that responds to medical emergencies in the country. Prince William thanked all the staff for their works amidst the coronavirus pandemic and for taking good care of the people.

Kate Middleton's husband said that in times like this, they all realized the importance of NHS by representing the very best of the country and society. Everyone here is pulling together to work for one common good, to fight the coronavirus outbreak and keep everyone safe.
