There are reports Princess Beatrice may have to cancel her wedding with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi once again amidst the coronavirus outbreak in the U.K. With the repeated cancelations and setbacks of her plans, the Princess of York is now dubbed as the "unluckiest princess in the world" with everything that is happening in her supposed married life.
In an episode of the ROYALS podcast, Zoe Burrell and Angela Mollard talked about the unconfirmed reports that Princess Beatrice's wedding was once again called off due to the pandemic. Mollard believed Prince Andrew's firstborn would feel "devastated" that her plans for her married life would be in "disarray."
"Princess Beatrice must be the unluckiest princess in the world," Burrell said, via Express. "What is happening with her wedding now?"
Although Mollard confirmed that there was no official announcement about the schedule of the next royal wedding yet, there were rumors that she already canceled the nuptials. There were earlier reports that her supposed garden party at Buckingham Palace was said to be postponed, too.
In this time of crisis, it looks like Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will postpone their wedding until 2021, instead of tying the knot with a short ceremony and limited guests. Sadly, it is the third time that they cancel their supposed to be special day after canceling it twice earlier due to the controversy surrounding her father, Prince Andrew.
As Princess Beatrice is now 31 years old and her fiancé is 36, she may be planning to have kids and move "quite quickly" on with her married life. Sadly, she may feel devastated that her plans are ruined at this moment.
Buckingham Palace announced in February that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi would be tying the knot on May 29 at the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace. It will then be followed by a wedding reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II herself at the gardens of her London residence.
However, according to Observer, as the coronavirus outbreak spreads in the U.K and the Government issues warning against large gatherings, it affects Princess Beatrice's planned wedding. Princess Eugenie's sister and her soon to be husband are not the only couples who are deeply affected by this pandemic.
The rest of the world is now in their fight against the rapid and continuous spread of the virus in their nation. In fact, Kate Middleton's brother, James Middleton, also canceled his scheduled wedding with Alizee Thevenet due to Covid-19.
