Viewers may not be seeing the finale of The Masked Singer season 3 anytime soon, as the show may continue airing until around May. This is an unusual move, given that most finales usually wrap up before the end of May sweeps rating periods.

In a report via TVLine, Fox confirmed the finale of The Masked Singer season 3 will be arriving on Wednesday night, May 27. Hence, viewers need to wait for more than a month to see the Super Nine performing on the stage.

The scheduling move may have something to do with Fox making sure it would have a lot of programming through most of the spring. Some shows on the network have been forced to shut down due to COVID-19 concerns, including Last Man Standing, The Resident, and Prodigal Son.

The good news is that viewers will still see a new episode this Wednesday night, Apr. 1, as it will be airing a two-hour Super Nine special. Fox also confirmed that there would be an episode on Apr. 15, which will be a sing-along special featuring highlights from the season.

Meanwhile, the previous episode of The Masked Singer season 3 unmasked the latest and final performer to be eliminated in Group C. It has been revealed that YouTube singing/dancing sensation JoJo Siwa was the performer behind the T-Rex Mask.

JoJo has a lot of online audiences, which only makes sense of why she wanted to join the show. In addition, she follows the trend of another internet celebrity; Ninja, who joined last year. There were several clues linking back to JoJo, such as bright colors which is somewhat tied to her brand.

Another clue is that she started in a competitive environment, where only a few make it big. It's also apparent that JoJo's performances require a lot of energy, which only hints that whoever's doing it has a history of performing.

JoJo was the final performer eliminated this season. Her exit follows Group A's Lil Wayne, Drew Carey, Chaka Khan; Group B's Tony Hawk, Dionne Warwick, Tom Bergeron; and her Group C batchmates Sarah Palin and Bella Thorne.

Nine performers are now heading to the finale of The Masked Singer season 3. Super Nine includes Group A's Turtle, White Tiger, and Kangaroo; Group B's Banana, Frog, and Kitty; and Group C's Rhino, Astronaut, and Night Angel.
