Rihanna and her billionaire boyfriend broke up earlier this year and yet, she is still rumored to be getting married to Hassan Jameel. To make things more intriguing, the two are, allegedly, expecting their first baby together.
The National Enquirer published a story this week claiming Rihanna and Jameel are planning to tie the knot in Paris. The outlet's source said the couple loves Paris. The 31-year-old singer, in particular, loves the people and the culture of the country.
The source added the "Umbrella" singer might even be pregnant already and inserting a photo of RiRi wearing a white dress with her midsection circled in a purple dotted line. It implied that the Ocean's 8 actress has a baby bump.
The insider added RiRi has finally met a man who she can feel safe with, bringing in her past relationships particularly with Chris Brown. Rihanna shocked the world when she was photographed with bruises on her face before the Grammy Awards in 2009. Brown was charged and pleaded guilty to felony assault and received five years of probation for attacking Rihanna.
Gossip Cop said the National Enquirer story is faulty at all fronts. First of all, Rihanna and Jameel are no longer together.
The two split in January after dating for nearly three years. The "Diamonds" singer or her camp did not issue any statement about the matter. However, People Magazine cited a source as saying the couple broke up because they had a hard time maintaining a relationship when they live in two different worlds.
About the pregnancy rumor, RiRi did indeed express her desire to have kids. However, she also hinted that she doesn't need a man to become a mother.
"They [society] diminish you as a mother if there's not a dad in your kids' lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness, that's the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That's the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love," she told British Vogue.
In another interview in June 2019 with her Ocean's 8 co-star Sarah Paulson for Interview Magazine, Rihanna also mentioned that she wants to have a baby. When Paulson asked her if she is getting married, Rihanna replied, "Only God knows that, girl. We plan and God laughs, right?"
At the moment, Rihanna is busy with the launch of her Fenty Skin Care and not on preparing her alleged wedding. The music, fashion, and beauty mogul is also expected to release a new album soon.
