Lady Gaga didn't just made the shortest Tonight Show interview with Jimmy Fallon but probably the most awkward, too. After joining Elton John's online benefit concert, the 34-year-old star was supposed to reveal big news about the coronavirus outbreak, but she awkwardly cut her talk short, hanging up on the 45-year-old host.

Since the coronavirus outbreak began, Jimmy Fallon has been doing The Tonight Show from home, interviewing his guests via a video call. On April 1, he held an interview with the A Star is Born actress, but things got too awkward when she said that she "couldn't talk right now," Hollywood Life noted.

Lady Gaga seemed to be very busy as phone rings could be heard on the line. She, too, was talking to her assistant, asking when would be the safest time that she could do a phone interview with Jimmy Fallon.

At the beginning of their talk, Jimmy Fallon greeted the Mother Monster and showed his phone to the screen. The "Shallow" hitmaker looked a little plain on her simple makeup and dark-rimmed glasses. She awkwardly said, "Hi everyone," but when Jimmy asked her about her big announcement, she told him she "couldn't talk" about it right now.

"It's just a really, really weird time," Lady Gaga said. Jimmy Fallon once again tried to show the call to the camera, but she looked for him and asked if she was on TV. "Yeah, you're on TV. I apologize," Jimmy responded.

From here, a ring could be heard from her end, and then she asked someone to push it back for one minute. Jimmy Fallon once again tried to press her to reveal the huge news that she was working on that would help a lot of people amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Lady Gaga once again told him that she couldn't tell him everything about it just yet because she was still ironing things out and had a lot of phone calls to make. To cut their conversation, she asked Jimmy Fallon if they could just talk on Friday, but it was once again moved to Monday.

American Horror Story's star revealed that her big news would be about Covid-19 and details about it would be announced soon. Meanwhile, she recently joined Elton John's online benefit concert with Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan Seacrest, Melissa McCarthy, and Bel Falone. They all aimed to raise funds for people who were deeply affected by the coronavirus outbreak, according to E! News.

They all played the hit tunes while sharing some words of inspiration during the Fox Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America. The funds raised would be donated to Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation, which both help the victims and frontliners in this time of crisis.
