Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS and the older boys have always showered him with love and affection. And even though the golden maknae is growing up and getting older, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V still see him as their baby brother.
But spending so much time with his hyungs for years may have led Jungkook to adapt their traits. On second thought, he may have already possessed these characteristics even before but opted to keep it on the down-low.
However, Jungkook could no longer deny the truth as his recent gesture proved that he lied on camera in the past. You see, when Jimin told ARMYS during a fan sign years ago that Jungkook hugs him when he sleeps, the golden maknae quickly denied it.
“Everyone, Jungkookie hugs me when he sleeps,” Jimin shared. “He’s saying weird things,” Jungkook said. And when Jimin asked him if he likes hugging while sleeping, he said he doesn’t like it. (Watch the clips here and here).
Unfortunately for Jungkook, there is now a piece of evidence to prove that he was lying. A “JiKook” (Jimin and Jungkook ship name) photo went viral where the 22-year-old singer, songwriter and record producer was clearly seen hugging Jimin while they were sleeping. (Check out the photo here).
The snap proved that Jimin was telling the truth after all. There is a possibility that Jungkook may have been embarrassed that his hyung shared that private detail about him, so he was left with no choice but to deny it.
Fansign events are something that RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook, and ARMYs look forward to because they can be informal with one another. And since the BTS stars and fans interact like close friends in the event, maybe Jimin got carried away and shared about Jungkook being a hugger when he sleeps.
Being in the band for a long time, it is understandable that all members of the group have become more and more comfortable with each other. In fact, in the K-pop industry, band members spend more time with each other than their family.
With that said, the BTS members are like brothers. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have been in the business since 2013, so they have formed a strong bond. So even though Jungkook denied that he was a hugger, the popular snap proved otherwise. Also, multiple instances proved that he is very sweet with his older members.
