Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani sang their hearts out and performed a sweet rendition of "Nobody but You" recorded inside their home for ACM Presents: Our Country. As the two are in quarantine together, there are still questions when they are going to get married, but it seems like they have no plans to do so, following the footsteps of this iconic unmarried celebrity couple -- Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been together since 1983, but they never planned to tie the knot. Despite their setup, their partnership has already resulted in 37 years of togetherness, and this, maybe, the music couple's model pair.
A source told Celebrity Insider that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani see their relationship as that of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. They are, reportedly, happy and contented with how things work out for them.
The two are doing fun things together, from fixing each other's hair to writing music together during the quarantine. The insider revealed that they are not talking about getting engaged or planning for marriage, but people shouldn't take it as a bad thing.
"Their relationship is a relationship like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, and it has that type of feel, where they don't need any title to have a long-standing great time together," the tipster explained. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are taking things as they go and not putting any stress on their relationship.
This way, they make their relationship work, and they are both happy about it. All is good for the two, and they have no plans to change anything even if they are in quarantine together.
A family friend also added that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have moved in together and are very happy in their new home. They, too, are contented with their relationship status and don't feel the need of getting married anytime soon. However, people should never be shocked if they get engaged in the future.
Meanwhile, the power couple joined ACM Presents: Our Country with an at-home performance recorded in their Oklahoma home, Billboard noted. The country singer revealed they were happy to be hiding away from everybody doing what they were supposed to do, "drinking all day," but the former No Doubt frontwomen cleared that she didn't drink.
Initially, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani planned to do their performance at the ACM Awards, which was supposed to be on Sunday, April 5, but was later moved to September due to the coronavirus outbreak. Hence, they sang "Nobody but You" outside their home with a cosy-looking fire pit burning behind them during dusk, while being recorded by Gwen's brother, Todd.
