The recent episode of How to Get Away with Murder season 6, titled "The Reckoning," finally solves the mystery as to who killed Asher. But now that the storyline has been closed, is there a chance that Asher will still appear again in flashbacks, dream sequences, or other scenes?

It looks like How to Get Away with Murder season 6 is moving forward after everything that happened rather than featuring the now-dead Asher. Matt McGorry also made it clear that his character won't be appearing again in the series' final run.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, McGorry revealed that there's one more scene he shot, but that scene didn't make it final cut for the series finale. He said that what we saw in the previous episode would be the final time for Asher.

Although it's said he's not appearing anymore in How to Get Away with Murder season 6, at least Asher got a proper send-off before the show officially concludes. He was able to deliver his emotional final video message to Oliver, Michaela, and Connor.

Asher urged his friends to follow his footsteps and that they should also do the right thing. He encouraged them to move forward after all the terrible things that happened to them. What he did before his death also made sense, as he wanted to help his family.

As for who's behind Asher's death, it was revealed that Agent Pollock was the one who killed him. Pollock used the fire poker to end his life and framed Oliver, Michaela, and Connor for his death. Gabriel witnessed what happened, but he initially thought Laurel killed Asher.

Eventually, Gabriel realized that Pollock was the killer as her earring matched for the woman he saw leaving Asher's lifeless body behind. Now that the mysteries surrounding the character's death has been solved, some of them could now move forward with their lives.

As for Annalise, it was revealed in the previous episode that she's under house arrest with her mother Ophelia, who's suffering from dementia. She tries to figure out whether or not Michaela and Connor had turned on her, and tries to get a sense of the full charges the state has against her.

What's more is that Annalise discovered that Nate betrayed her on a deeper level by giving the files of Denver to the FBI. In addition, Tegan is now Annalise official lawyer, so some of her darkest family secrets might be uncovered.

How to Get Away with Murder season 6 airs every Thursday night on ABC.
