The previous episode of When Calls the Heart season 7, titled "Into the Woods," left the fate of one of the characters in question. One of the fearful moments within this episode is that Kavan Smith's character Lee is in serious danger.
Lee is in difficult situation at the moment, based on what happened to him in the previous episode. A dangerous storm hits Hope Valley and Lee did whatever he can to help those in need. But then, things get twisted when he fell and seriously hurt his head.
Clearly, Lee's life is on the line when the new episode of When Calls the Heart season 7 arrives. He needs to get to the infirmary in time to be fine. If not, there is a huge possibility that something more and terrible could happen to him.
But although it's apparent that Lee is in danger, there is no indication the character may depart in the series. Many also love Lee and seeing him tragically leaving the series is devastating. His departure could also cause mental anguish to most of the characters.
In addition, Smith has been part of the series over the past years and appeared in most of the episodes. Lee is also an important part of the Hope Valley community, so there's no reason to worry as the character may eventually end up being fine.
Meanwhile, the next episode of When Calls the Heart season 7 would be the last one before the season finale. The people of Hope Valley will likely be dealing with the aftermath of the storm. Even though the winds have died down, the effects of the treacherous storm linger to some people in the community.
The episode will also see Nathan going undercover for a case, while Fiona dealing with bad news. There could be some unexpected twists and turns here leading to the season finale, which will possibly bring a huge cliffhanger.
Hallmark hasn't yet announced the official renewal status of season 8, but many were hoping the series would be renewed. There is a huge chance the series would come back for more, given that it's one of the popular shows in the network. Moreover, there are still a lot of stories worth exploring in the future
