Prince William and Kate Middleton are making a lot of strides in this pandemic. They have been able to access a wealth of resources in raising funds for their coronavirus relief efforts.
According to Daily Mail, Prince William and Kate are getting a lot of rich donors and wealth benefactors for their many patronages and charities, which are making a difference in this public health crisis. It is the rich who are knocking, tapping and approaching the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to give them grant money for projects that will benefit frontliners and the vulnerable sector.
A source said that Prince William and Kate were able to speak with the donors in the last two weeks, who willingly poured their financial support. Soon, some of this grant money will be rolling out to the Cavell Nurses Trust and The Care Workers Charity, through the Cambridges' Royal Foundation.
Earlier, Prince William's efforts to raise funds for the National Emergencies Trust also bore results when it reached over $11 million in just one week. This money has been divided across many charities and two of these had their representatives do a video conference with the Duke of Cambridge during Easter Sunday.
Speaking to one of the benefactors, Prince William said that Britain really shines best when it's in a crisis. The future king said that the British people always pull together and rush out to help each other as a community.
Prince William expressed that his biggest worry in this coronavirus pandemic is the potential mental strain among the frontliners and their families. Thus, he wants to focus on anticipating the kind of support the nurses and doctors need in the coming weeks.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also overhauled a little part of their website to indicate that they are doing something for the healthcare workers who continue to battle the coronavirus. The royals have partnered with a group that provides online support for carers who might need someone to talk to because this crisis can be tough for any person.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate are doing their work from the comforts of their home in Anmer Hall in Norfolk. Since they still cannot go out of the house or hold face-to-face meetings, due to the stay-at-home orders from the government, Prince William and Kate are doing video conference calls and actual phone calls to close deals, touch base and round up resources.
