Prince William and Kate Middleton are now spending most of their time with their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis due to the coronavirus outbreak and nationwide lockdown. As they have to deal with three tireless little children, the Cambridges revealed that just like so many others, they are also experiencing parenting struggles. So, here's how they are all coping and adapting to the order of social distancing and staying at home during the pandemic.
Coping
In an interview with BBC¸ the Duchess of Cambridge revealed that they are also experiencing the "ups and downs" of parenting three kids in this time of crisis. So, they are all for finding the right balance when talking to their children about the pandemic, per Hello! Magazine.
Although Prince George is older than Prince Louis, they are all aware of what's happening, making Kate Middleton surprised with their abilities. Although they don't want to scare them, she believes it is still more appropriate if they let them know what's happening around them in simple ways that are age-appropriate so that it won't be too overwhelming.
Homeschooling
While talking about homeschooling, Prince William and his wife couldn't help but laugh. Although they said it's been fun, the future queen consort admitted that she felt mean when they kept Prince George and Princess Charlotte did their lessons throughout the Easter holidays.
Kate Middleton commended her first two kids' stamina that they could almost do everything. They managed to pitch a tent, take it down again, cooked, and baked. "You get to the end of the day - they have had a lovely time - but it is amazing how much you can cram into one day that's for sure," she explained.
Communication
Despite the lockdown, Prince William and Kate Middleton made sure that their kids are still communicating with the rest of the royal family members. Prince Charles, Kate's parents, and all of their families love to keep in touch with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, Town & Country noted.
The Duke of Cambridge even made a joke about using the new technology, admitting the younger generation is a bit more tech-savvy than them. However, they are getting used to it now, pressing the right buttons, and "not the dropping the computer halfway through."
When it comes to hanging up the call, they'll have no problem with that, as Prince Louis is always the first one to grab the phone. Prince William revealed that their youngest son presses the red button every time he sees it.
