Donald Trump is once again trending on Twitter, but not for a good reason. After the United States President suggested injecting bleach and disinfectants to the body can fight coronavirus, Tide Pods started to trend, medical experts called him "wrong and irreponsible," getting slammed by a lot of people.

During his latest COVID-19 update, the POTUS revealed that bleach and disinfectants could be used to kill the coronavirus after Homeland Security official Bill Bryan reported that these cleaning products could knock it out. Bryan also said that UV rays and alcohol could work wonders to destroy the infection.

Hence, Donald Trump publicly suggested injecting these products into the human body to fight off the disease. "I see that disinfectant knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that. By injection inside...or almost a cleaning," he said, via Hollywood Life.

He explained that when these cleaning products could get into the lungs, it could does "a tremendous number" on it, adding that it would be interesting to check the proposal with the medical doctors' help. Melania Trump's husband seemed to be excited about the idea, saying that the whole concept of the light and the way it would go to the body in one minute is pretty powerful.

Bill Bryan, who leads the Science and Technology division, presented a claim that the virus couldn't live long in a place with warmer and more humid temperatures. He said it could quickly die in the sunlight, although he couldn't say if the summer could kill the virus. But in a hot country like Ecuador, it seemed to oppose the claim by having almost 580 deaths and 28,000 confirmed cases, per Worldometers.

This led to a Twitter uproar, making Tide Pods and Lysol trending. The Twitterverse found Donald Trump's assertion ridiculous, not to mention highly poisonous, resulting in mockeries and insults.

Meanwhile, to make it clear, medical experts, like doctors, epidemiologists, and others, felt alarmed with what the President said that they issued a public statement to warn people about it. Dr Eugene Gu, who's one of the responsible in the coronavirus testing, said that Donald Trump's suggestion is "wrong and irresponsible," Al Jazeera noted.

Although Clorox, Tide Pods, and Lysol can indeed kill coronavirus, if these things are injected in the body, they will die along with the virus. Lysol added that their disinfectant products should never be administered into the human body in any way, may it be injection, ingestion, or anything else.
