Like his name sake, William the Conqueror, Prince William has been dubbed as the "corona conqueror" for his efforts to lift the U.K. amid the pandemic. The Duke of Cambridge has been noted for doing the right things and saying the right words as he acknowledges the carers and launches relief efforts for those affected by the virus, along with his wife, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.

The Sun gave the nickname "corona conqueror" for Prince William as he proved his worth to the British People. According to the report, Prince William is leading the royal family by example and he instinctively understands the general mood of what every British citizen is experiencing in this dark hour.

Prince William has made efforts to establish reliefs for the vulnerable sector, open a coronavirus NHS facility, and launching mental health initiatives for the frontliners. He also knows the right words to say to inspire people, much like his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

The Sun said that Prince William is proving that he could rise to the challenge as the future King of England. He also has the right down-to-earth attitude that reflects on his wife and his three kids, who have been acknowledging the healthcare workers.

Recently, Prince William also shared an uplifting video on his official Instagram account that raises the flag of the U.K. Presented by the Football Association and made by Hussain Manawer, the clip showed the resilience of the Englishmen.

"This is England during a crisis, a nation united. This is England - 66 million from thousands of communities, that's our heartland," Manawer said in the video. "And we say thank you to the NHS and all the key workers, we hold high our multicultural front line, because this is England."

Followers of the royal account posted in the comments that they are indeed proud to be British because they were pulling together and helping out each other. They also thanked those in the frontline who have been sacrificing their lives.

Prince William is doing all of these while in lockdown in Anmer Hall with his wife and kids. The Cambridges have been in Norfolk since the middle of March and have been working on their charities and organizations via video conferencing.

The Duke of Cambridge said that they are still able to do more concrete actions in the virtual environment. It comes as the royal family have cancelled most of the engagements for at least until June.
