IU has revealed the title for her upcoming collaboration with BTS' Suga and fans can't get over the first teaser.
According to a report from All Kpop, IU dropped the first teaser for her upcoming digital single which will be entitled 8.
The concept featured two different sides to what appeared to be IU's hand. On the top image, IU's seemed to be wearing tatterred white clothing. Her nail polish also seemed to be fading.
The bottom image showed a contrasting image, with IU wearing a beautiful white dress with her nail polished and her hand decorated prettily with beads and a ring.
The mystery of behind the teaser has made fans of the duo even more curious about their upcoming collaboration.
It can be recalled that EDAM Entertainment confirmed only yesterday the upcoming collaboration of IU and BTS' Suga.
In their post, EDAM Entertainment said: "As musicians of the same age, the two singers were able to relate to one another and use that as a foundation for exchanging opinions. They created their unique synergy, which is reflected in their song."
Both IU and Suga are known to be passionate singers and songwriters. Suga is credited with over 90 songs as songwriter and composer by the Korea Music Copyright Association while IU is no slaggard. She also received credit for writing more than 50 songs throughout her career.
Both artists are also known for collaborating with other talented artists to deliver introspective lyrics and music.
IU has previously collaborated with G-Dragon, Seo Taiji, Kim Chang Wan, Oh Hyuk, Ullaa Session, Hyung Don, and Dae Joon, as well as the late Jonghyun of SHINEE, Soompi reported.
Suga, apart from performing and producing songs for BTS, has also collaborated with Tony Montana and Yankie, SURAN, WINE feat. Changmo, EPIK High, HEIZE, Giriboy and most recently, American singer Halsey for Suga's Interlude. Suga also came out with his solo mixtape under his monicker Agust D which talked about mental health and issues affecting young Koreans.
While concerts and promotional activities are on hold, IU is working on her digital single which will be released on May 6. She is also hard at work for her new film with Park Seo Joon and Lee Hyun Woo, entitled Dream. Fans are waiting for the movie's release because Dream will be IU's first commercial film project, Soompi reported
