Donald Trump recently made a shocking move during the daily White House briefing. As it happened, he left his audience without answering questions from the press.

This came the day after he reportedly asked medical officials to look into the "possibility" of utilizing "a very intense light" and "injecting disinfectants" to treat the novel coronavirus. It has then appeared that the US President avoided a wave of questions from the press over the whole debacle.

According to The New York Times, it was not surprising that Donald Trump made these suggestions during his briefing earlier. As reported, he engaged a conversation with the task force coordinator, Dr. Deborah Birx, and discussed the possible effects of "sunlight" and "disinfectants" to the virus.

Prior to the briefing, reports noted that new research had been presented before the task force how light and disinfectants can effectively kill the virus. But, as cleared out, it was entirely centered on surfaces and not humans.

Donald Trump immediately received a huge backlash from the public over his "dangerous" comments. Several health and medical professionals started to remind the public that it is not safe to ingest or inject disinfectants. Some even already "begged" the public to disregard the said suggestion as this may cause further harm, especially to the patients.

Amid the whole controversy, the White House Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, reportedly, shared a statement the day after. She reportedly explained that when the US President "gets new information," especially the ones he likes, he talks about it "out loud."

Later on, though, Donald Trump reportedly said that he was just being "sarcastic." It was also said that everything was "taken out of context."

As per CNN, the daily White House briefing on that day only lasted for "22 minutes," as opposed to the usual two hours, led by the US President. He then, reportedly, "walked out" of the situation room without answering any question.

The publication also noted that he likely knew that he will be "bombarded" with questions over the controversial comments he left the day before. This is probably why he left and ended the briefing on a much earlier note.

CNN Business then released a report revealing that the White House even tried to "reassign seats" before the briefing started. Kaitlan Collins, who was, reportedly, in the situation room for CNN, reportedly shared that she was initially assigned to swap her "front seat" for the back seat.

After refusing, the briefing still went on. It was then noted that the WHCA assigned the seats, and not the White House.

This immediately started a whole new controversy since WHCA, reportedly, pointed fingers to the Secret Service. But, when asked, the Secret Service said that they were "not involved" in any of the said "effort."
