BTS is rich enough to hire professional chefs to cook for them every single day. However, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are not known for pulling their celebrity card to get whatever they want.
In fact, up to this day, the BTS boys still cook for themselves despite their superstardom status. And the two members that are known for their amazing cooking skills are Jin and Suga.
And because of that, Jin and Suga are the team leaders in Episode 102 of Run BTS! in a game called “King of Avatar Cook.” Jin’s members are V and Jungkook while Suga has RM and Jimin on his team.
After losing the rock, paper, scissor game, Jin’s team was up first. The concept was that the team leader had to direct one of the members through a walkie talkie, who will then relay the message to the other member who will do the instructions.
For example, Jin will tell Jungkook to cut the onions, and then the golden maknae will tell V to do it. Every two minutes, the members will switch roles. So this time, Jin will be instructing V, who will then tell Jungkook to do what he was told. It may appear simple, but it was very confusing for V and Jungkook, while Jin’s stress levels reached a new high. (Watch the clip here).
In fact, Jin was so frustrated that his voice can be heard from the next room even without a walkie talkie. While Jin is most of the time very patient, V and Jungkook tested his patience in the kitchen when the two younger members appeared to be struggling with the whole thing.
At one point, Jin temporarily gives up. When Jungkook tasted the food and said that it was salty, Jin was ready to throw in the towel. “We’re doomed,” he said. (Watch the clip here).
But Jin couldn’t stand being frustrated with his younger members for too long. The BTS star may be stressed out but V and Jungkook made him laugh more the whole episode. (Watch the clip here).
Jin also has something to smile about, the meal that his team prepared turned out well and host J-Hope seemed to like it, too. Jin’s team still has a chance to win the battle as a preview of Suga’s team appeared to be a disaster as well. One must not forget that “God of Destruction” RM is cooking next.
