Prince Philip is known as a very "vocal" member of the British Royal Family. While his appearance and presence have been intimidating for some individuals, several royal insiders revealed that he shares a very "close" relationship with Prince William and Prince Harry.
However, recent reports noted that the relationship that he shares with the Duke of Sussex has likely suffered a huge strain when his grandson decided to leave the royal life. As speculated, he is unhappy with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's exit.
According to Express UK, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams asserted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exit may have "not sat well" with Prince Philip. He explained that the Duke of Edinburgh has been known for his dedication to the Queen and to the British Crown.
As added, during his "whole life" inside the British Monarchy, he has devoted everything. So, in viewing the Sussex couple's move, he will likely have taken it on a "dim view," the expert said.
Other reports contended that despite the Queen's "blessing," the Sussex couple's exit has not been taken lightly by members of the British Royal Family. It was even attested that most of the senior members felt "blindsided" by the couple.
There were speculations and allegations earlier this year that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took everyone by surprise as no one knows, even the Queen, about their decision to step down.
