The upcoming Star Wars Day could be the first one without any major events due to the Coronavirus outbreak. However, that doesn't mean that fans should wallow in misery on a truly special day. Disney and Lucasfilm has come up with the best thing Star Wars fans could do while self-quarantining during May the 4th. A new trailer confirms that all nine films of the Skywalker Saga will finally be available for streaming on Star Wars Day.

The new trailer celebrates the completion of the Skywalker Saga which started with A New Hope and concludes with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Although Episode 9 was only released in December, it will now be available for streaming on Disney+ on May the 4th, which also happens to be Star Wars Day. It's a special treat for fans who are currently stuck at home due to the mandatory COVID-19 self-quarantines.

Are you ready for a lengthy Star Wars marathon? The full line-up of films in the Skywalker Saga is listed below.

Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)
Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983)
Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

It is important to remember that the original trilogy was released first before being followed by the prequel trilogy that focused on Anakin Skywalker's journey to becoming Darth Vader. The sequel trilogy would then introduce a young hero who is set to continue with the Skywalker legacy.

The Skywalker Saga films are not the only major events that fans can look forward to on Star Wars Day. It was also confirmed that a new documentary series focusing on the first season of The Mandalorian will be released on the same day. Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is an eight-episode docu-series that will provide a behind-the-scenes look at every episode of the show's first season. In addition to that, the directors of each episode will offer their insights on working on the show and tease on what people can look forward to in Season 2.

Fans can also expect to experience the series finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 on May the Fourth. The last episode of the animated show's final season is titled Victory and Death and will premiere on Disney+ on May 4.
