Fans show concern for Chadwick Boseman's current state after the Black Panther star was photographed looking so frail. The 42-year-old surprised everyone with his thin appearance and seemed to be using a walking stick to support his body.

Chadwick Boseman's look today is the total opposite of his bulky physique fans knew of him as T'Challa in the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. So, when he was seen out and about near his Los Angeles home, he seemed to be entirely unrecognizable.

As the 21 Bridges star is so skinny, the outline of his legs is already appearing through his navy sweatpants as he walked with his mom, Carolyn, Hollywood Life noted. Carolyn was wearing a black mask, while her son's face was covered with a scarf. He, too, was carrying a cardboard tray with a green smoothie and a cup of coffee in it.

What puzzled everyone was Chadwick Boseman's use of a wooden walking stick to head to the café near his house. Some people found it odd that he needed to a support while walking to a place a few steps away from his home. However, he was later seen using the same stick while practicing martial arts.

Fans couldn't help but speculate what happened to the American actor. His extreme weight loss made everyone's jaw dropped, as he looked different from the massive-bodied star they used to see. One fan said that the strength of the panther had been stripped away, while another asked what happened to his body.

"Now you're too slim build a strong body bro we need that," the worrying fan said. Some also wondered if he's okay as he didn't look healthy anymore and remarkably looked small.

So, to ease worrying fans, The Sun revealed that Chadwick Boseman's weight loss might have something to do to his latest role in the TV series, The Black Child. Here, he would play the role of a slave, along with rapper Common.

However, the British publication cleared that it couldn't confirm the fans' assumptions about his appearance. Aside from the show, he also has other upcoming projects, like Yasuke, where he will play the role of the first African samurai that swings a sword in Japan, which may be the reason why he has a wooden stick. Of course, fans may once again see a bulky Chadwick Boseman as he is set to reprise his role as T'Challa in the Black Panther sequel, which will be out in May 2022.
