Billions season 5 episode 3 is arriving later this week on Showtime, with the title "Beg, Bribe, Bully." This episode will see Chuck diving a little bit into his past as he visits his alma mater. This is a chance to learn more about him, especially where he comes from.
Yet, this isn't some sort of extended flashback as Chuck went there for a particular reason. In the synopsis of Billions season 5 episode 3, Chuck visit his alma mater so he could pursue an opportunity. This may have something to do with business and he's trying to get ahead.
Within this world, almost everything happens with business in mind. It seems like Chuck visits his alma mater not because he wanted to reminisce his moments there, but to pursue some sort of business instead. But then, there could also be some revelations along the way.
As for what else is coming in Billions season 5 episode 3, Taylor is asserting independence with a risky play, the big venture of Axe has been sidelined due to a family crisis. In addition, Chuck will put Wendy in an awkward position.
Chuck and Wendy are going through a divorce battle and things could get even uglier. The two were arguing over certain assets. Wendy has been making public statements, while Frank thinks it wasn't right. Yet, he had a larger role as to why their marriage fell apart in the first place.
The series has just premiered earlier this month, so some of the stories here would likely set up big and more showdowns later on. There could be chaos coming for most of the character, with Mike Prince being one of the big catalysts throughout the season.
Prince is a strong and powerful guy. He's capable of causing a lot of problems in every turn, impacting the lives of the characters in some ways. This is what the series is all about, delivering unexpected twists and turns in every direction.
What's more is that Prince challenges Axe in his thirst for more power. The latter proclaims you need to be a monster to be successful in this world and he's willing to be one to succeed. Chuck also seemingly welcomes Prince's presence. Thus, this character is a big adversary this season.
