Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world when they announced back in January that they will be stepping down as senior royals. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared that they wish to focus more on their family and charities while living a “peaceful life” and be “financially independent.”

Now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially stepped down from their roles on March 31. That being said, the couple is not tied to their royal duties anymore, which means that they can focus more on things that they personally want to do.

According to a royal author, Meghan Markle will balance working and being a mother after quitting royal life. Leslie Carroll said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have more time with Archie as they start their new life in Los Angeles.

“What has changed Meghan by stepping back from her full-time duties as a royal is that she will likely have more time to spend with Archie, to enjoy his development day by day,” she said. “And once the lockdown is over, Archie will be able to spend time with grandma Doria. It's also likely that we will see Meghan able to carve out a work-life balance that includes a lot of quality time with little Archie. And her fans and those at her patronages will be delighted because they support her and love her and wish her well.”

Meanwhile, actress Lindsay Lohan and English television personality Sharon Osbourne have previously warned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle about living in Los Angeles.

“Unless they own another, a different private beach. You can’t go to those beaches without being [photographed]—you can’t even surf out far enough. It’s just really hard to do anything publicly there,” Lindsay Lohan said. “Right now, luckily, is everyone is more at home. But, once that’s over… just… get drivers.”

It appeared that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had enough of the UK media that led them to decide to withdraw from their senior royal roles to have a private life. However, Sharon Osbourne noted that things will not get better in Los Angeles.

"They actually moved to California… I don't know why, it's just so alien to me to think of the prince living here,” she shared. ”If they were fed up with the press in the UK, they are really going to be fed up with the press living in LA. I just think it's so foreign. I'm kind of disappointed, in a way, that Harry would end up here in LA."
