Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew have been married for ten long years until they separated in 1996. Since people have always envisioned the Royal family to be ideal, their divorce was quite a scandal.

However, what made Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s divorce different is that they remain very close despite their split. In fact, the Duke and Duchess of York have been constantly rumored to be rekindling their romance.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson still praise and defend each other publicly on numerous occasions, which is one of the reasons why royal fans believe that they still have a chance to get back together. However, the Duchess of York previously explained that they are fine with their current status. She even described what it’s like to be divorced from the second son of Queen Elizabeth.

“We’re the happiest divorced couple in the world,” Sarah Ferguson shared. “We’re divorced to each other, not from each other. We both say it. We are entirely compatible. Our bywords are communication, compromise, and compassion.”

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew share two daughters Princess Eugenie, and Princess Beatrice. Offsprings have always been a major part of every relationship, and this is certainly the case with the Duke and Duchess of York.

“Of course we’re human, both Andrew and I, but when we walked through the door we never brought our adult problems to the children. This is always our rule,” Sarah Ferguson continued.

Meanwhile, a sexual health and relationship expert at Doctor4U previously claimed that it’s “entirely possible” that Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew may have rekindled their relationship over the years.

“Had the relationship rekindled? Entirely possible. I think it’s clear that there are still feelings there between them,” Kyle Sowden told Express. “It’s not uncommon for a divorced couple to adopt a co-parenting partnership and stay friendly, although it is a lot more uncommon to be as close as Sarah and Andrew are, though it’s not a bad thing at all.”

He also noted that Sarah Ferguson didn’t want a divorce, even though she and Prince Andrew had a lot of differences. Fergie also chose to be on the good side of the Royal family by “seeking friendship from the Queen and happily going back to work rather than chasing a large settlement.”

Sarah Ferguson's actions truly proved that she didn’t want a scandal or a controversy after she and Prince Andrew divorced, they just simply couldn’t get along as husband and wife.
