Queen Elizabeth II has been reigning as the Queen of England and other Commonwealth realms for 67 years. During her impressive regnant, she has made six Guinness World Records, including a huge bank account.
Queen Elizabeth II earned her space in the book due to her record-breaking achievements in her time on the throne. She is now the longest-reigning Queen, not to mention, the wealthiest.
In 2012, the monarch became the Wealthiest Queen after The Sunday Times estimated her wealth to be at £310 million. This amount accounts all her properties, jewelry, and art, Mirror Online noted.
She also has a world-breaking record of being the Head of State of most countries simultaneously. In total, she leads 16 Commonwealth states with 139 million people, although her role remains to be ceremonial and has no political power.
The 94-year-old royal also has the most currencies that feature the same individual. Coinage from 35 countries features Queen Elizabeth's face, while Queen Victoria only appeared on 21, and King George V was on 19.
Her last three Guinness World Records have something to do with her long reign. She has two records for being the longest-reigning monarch in history--one for being the longest living monarch and another one for the longest-living monarch of all time.
She got the first one on Sept. 9, 2015, when she surpassed Queen Victoria's record, who reigned for 63 years and 216 days. She received the second one on Jan. 23, 2015, when she became the world's oldest monarch after His Majesty, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, died at 88.
Queen Elizabeth also holds the record for being the oldest British Queen in history. She took the title from her great, great grandmother, Queen Victoria, on Dec. 21, 2007. She was 81 at the time.
Her Majesty is now 94. In four years, she can hold another record by being the world's longest-reigning monarch, according to The New York Post. Currently, Louis XIV of France, or also known as the Sun King, still holds the title. He reigned for 72 years and 110 days, starting at the tender age of four. He died four days before he turned 77.
Anyhow, Queen Elizabeth remains to be reigning the United Kingdom in excellent ways. She ascended the throne at the age of 25 after the death of her father, King George VI, at 56 because of lung cancer. She continuously proves her worth, especially now that the COVID-19 pandemic is grappling her country.
