Batwoman episode 20 is coming later this week on The CW, with the title "O, Mouse." This will be a significant episode as it serves as the last one this season. Prepare for some big showdown,more chaos, as well as painful events coming to Kate and the rest of other characters.
One of the main questions entering Batwoman episode 20 is whether or not Batwoman will be able to defeat Alice. There is no concrete answer to that as of yet, though the episode title hints the superhero could beat Hush and Mouse -- particularly the latter.
The process, however, may not be easy at all since other problems are coming on her way. There could be huge twists and turns, but also some emotional tests and dramatic moments. For instance, a lot of things are going one with Commander Kane, which could lead to Batwoman questioning everything.
In the synopsis of Batwoman episode 20, Commander Kane and Batwoman find themselves on the defensive after a former hero of Gotham comes back to a settle a score. Kate is also heartbroken by her father's choices as Commander Kane refused to retreat from his war on Batwoman in a final standoff.
As for Alice, she discovered something that could finally take down Batwoman. However, she's losing hold on her henchman Mouse and Hush, which sends her spiraling into her most wicked self. Luke also tries to figure out how she could protect Batwoman from Alice.
Meanwhile, Mary will have the chance to be the sister Kate needed all along. Lastly, Julia warned Sophie about the person pulling the strings when new information surfaces. It looks like things get even more intense here and the promo features some epic battles.
The clip starts with Commander Kane seemingly blaming Batwoman, as his wife's killer would still be in Arkham if it weren't for her. The scene then shifts to Kate saying that she thought nothing could hurt her if she put the Batwoman suit on, but what she believed was wrong.
The promo ended with Commander Kane and Batwoman coming face-to-face, with the former saying: "I promised you war, this is what it looks like." This episode may leave a huge cliffhanger, given that there are still more stories to tell. The writers are probably setting up the stage for the potential second installment.
Right now, The CW hasn't yet officially confirmed the renewal status of Batwoman, though many believed it's coming back for more. For now, viewers may need to wait for a while as the renewal could be announced after a few weeks.
