Suga is not someone who wears his heart on his sleeve. The BTS rapper is not only more on the mellow side, but he is known for not being as expressive as the other members.

But in Episode 2 of BTS’s Break The Silence docuseries, Suga laid his heart on the table. He shared that he, RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are destined to be together despite their differences.

“When you travel, there are some people you travel with from the start, and some you meet along the way. I think the reasons would all be different,” he said. “Whether it was done voluntarily or not, we started our journey together. As we continue, I can’t think of anything better than this. Rather than doing something on my own, the seven of us doing it together has a more synergistic effect. Could there have been a better match? We must have been destined to meet. I think that a lot.”

Suga also pointed out that being a team means that you carry each other’s success and failure. There are instances that a member’s exhaustion and stress can weigh the other boys down, but when someone is happy, the bright mood affects everyone else as well.

“Just being there for each other is a source of strength, even if we don’t say anything,” Suga shared. “It’s not about picking one specific person. We know each other so well, even without words.”

In 2018, Jin shocked the world when he confessed at the 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong that BTS had considered disbanding. It was the year that the boys experienced a lot of pressure and doubts that it became too much for them to handle.

“We had a hard time mentally during the beginning of this year. While talking with each other, we even thought about disbanding,” Jin said. "But we regather our hearts, and I’m glad that we were able to produce such a great result… I’m thankful to my members who decided to continue… I want to thank my members who always love me and to say thank you to ARMY for always loving us. Thank you.”

In Break The Silence, Suga shared that if a member decided to leave the group, they would do everything in their power to persuade that member to stay. But the BTS rapper said that they will not force someone to do something that they don’t want to do anymore, which is why they are open to let anyone go if the persuasion is not enough.
