The personalities of the children of Prince William and Kate Middleton are slowly shining through as they are growing up. A royal expert said that between the two older kids, it's Princess Charlotte who is braver and Prince George who is more reticent.

According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, Princess Charlotte is more willing to try anything than her older brother. Prince George is rather reserved and would wait to see what his younger sister is doing before he does it himself.

Sources said that Prince George's reservation is likely because he's going to be the heir to throne one day. The relationship dynamics between the Cambridge siblings is similar to the dynamics between Prince William and Prince Harry, with the latter not having to deal with the burden and responsibility to be king.

"It's the same difference between William and Harry," the source said. "Harry is much more laid-back and William is the more serious one because he will be king one day."

Princess Charlotte is also the feisty one that some apparently call her the "Warrior Princess." She has a bit of an adventurous personality and likes to climb trees in their backyard.

But Prince George has a lively spirit despite being more reserved than Princess Charlotte. A family friend described the six-year-old future king as a "jolly little person" who is inquisitive.

Despite their differences, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are super close. They love playing outdoors together with their youngest brother, Prince Louis. Rain or shine, the Cambridge children are always roughing it, especially while in lockdown at Anmer Hall, because Prince William and Kate Middleton believe outdoor play will improve their confidence and creativity.

Meanwhile, the Cambridge royals have been setting up tents and biking around the Sandringham estate where Anmer Hall stands during this coronavirus lockdown. When Prince William and Kate have no work to oversee or a video conference call to attend to, they are bonding with their kids with some kind of family activity.

If they are not outdoors, the Cambridge children are in the kitchen with Kate to bake or cook an easy dish. The children also play a lot of hide and seek or run around the estate with their dogs.

Prince William and Kate are letting their children enjoy a normal childhood but in the middle of these, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge carry on with their royal duties. This is the reason why the Cambridges remain appealing to the British masses because they could balance their royal and personal life well.
