The 100 season 7 will premiere this week on The CW, with the title "From the Ashes." A lot of interesting things are coming within this new installment, considering that it serves as the series' final run. Prepare for more mysteries, big reveals, as well as exciting stories for the characters.

The poster of The 100 season 7 teased a lot of mysteries are coming. It could be all about the anomaly that sucked Diyoza and Octavia or could be something else. Whatever happens in the premiere may also set up big stories as the series progresses.

Since this is the final season, things get even more intense than ever. There's a danger coming to most of the characters. They have to find ways to survive, but that may not be easy at all since they won't be able to predict what's next for them.

The premiere follows the events that happened at Sanctum, with some of the characters asking themselves several key questions. Based on the synopsis, Clarke and her friends will try to rebuild the Sanctum while a new threat emerges in the woods.

The promo of The 100 season 7 also sees Clarke questioning everything that's happening around them. She used to believe that fighting is what they do, but she's worried now because she believed that fighting is actually what they are.

The clip also features other intense moments, including the arrival of seemingly masked assassins. A mangled corpse at the woods was also seen, while Russell screamed he needs deaths. Bellamy was also having an emotional breakdown, and Indra saying a new world but same problems.

A new trailer also shows Clarke pondering and looking back at their legacies. And as she and others move towards the end, the more they'll be tested. There's a lot of danger waiting for them along the way and there could be violence in every turn.

In addition, new characters are arriving and could impact the lives of others. Considering that this is the final installment, the series would answer more about the anomaly since this is one of the most intriguing parts of season 6.

Meanwhile, CarterMatt noted there's a backdoor spin-off coming later this season. Yet, The CW is keeping details about it at the moment. This may have something to do with the scheduling as everything is still up in the air right now.

The 100 airs on Wednesday night, May 20, on The CW. The episode is directed by Ed Fraiman and written by Jason Rothenberg.
