Despite the nationwide lockdown and social distancing measures brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, nothing can stop Meghan Markle from reuniting with her mom, Doria Ragland. The two are, reportedly, seeing each other after the Sussexes moved to Los Angeles following their so-called Megxit in March.
It has been more than a month since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to L.A., living in Tyler Perry's $18-million mansion, along with their kid, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. As their home is said to be just near Doria Ragland's house, the Duchess of Sussex is, allegedly, regularly seeing her mom.
A source told Us Weekly that the former actress is meeting her mother in L.A. As a yoga instructor, the insider revealed she is currently giving private yoga lesson to a select few clients.
Before the couple moved to L.A., they stayed for a few months in Canada. There, they spent their six-week holiday vacation before they dropped their bombshell announcement in January.
However, at the time, a tipster revealed Doria Ragland had no intention to move in with her daughter or even anywhere for that matter. When Meghan Markle was still part of the T.V. series, Suits, which production was held in Toronto, she would only see her kid once or twice a year.
News emerged that Prince Harry's wife and her mother were reunited in time for Mother's Day. Oprah Magazine reported that the pair, along with their one-year-old son, celebrated the special day with Doria Ragland. Another source revealed that the family cautiously followed the social distancing guidelines during the small family get-together.
According to Harper's Bazaar, Doria Ragland remains to be Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's great support system. She has been there throughout the Duchess of Sussex's life and her transition in and out of the royal family. She was the only family member of Meghan who attended their royal wedding in 2018. She also made sure that she would be there in time of Archie's birth in London in 2019.
Doria Ragland is also, reportedly, the one behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's initiative to volunteer with Project Angel Food to deliver food to people with illnesses at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic. To recall, the couple was seen providing meals, emergency kits, and nonperishable goods to ill individuals in L.A.
Meghan Markle's mom has dramatically influenced her child when it comes to doing charitable works. Although Prince Harry's wife did not have much when she was young, Doria Ragland made sure that they could always give back whatever they could to less fortunate people.
