Prince Harry made a video call to London Wednesday to speak to the volunteers of his favorite charity. The Duke of Sussex, who is currently based in Los Angeles, talked to the StreetGames volunteers to let them know how much he appreciates their work amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The charity posted the video of Prince Harry talking to their members on its Twitter page. Engaging the three youngsters from StreetGames, Prince Harry commended them for helping out vulnerable families in London.

StreetGames is working alongside another organization, the Hubb kitchen, to distribute food across the city. The meals are cooked by the Hubb while the StreetGames members do the deliveries. Incidentally, the Hubb kitchen is one of the causes supported by Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry's wife.

Prince Harry told the volunteers that he appreciates how they are using their time to show compassion and care for other people amid this public health crisis. StreetGames is actually a sport-oriented charity but since sports activities, especially contact sports, are not yet possible during the lockdown, the volunteers decided to do something else and help out in the process.

StreetGames also partnered with Sport at the Heart, based in Brent, to deliver food and essential items to communities that may be struggling during this virus crisis. According to People, Prince Harry last visited Brent two years ago and inspired the kids he met during the brief visit. The group has also been hosting several virtual activities, such as family Zumba, to keep people active and engaged when being in isolation can be challenging for many kids.

Prince Harry has been supporting StreetGames and its network for many years. Despite being in Los Angeles, the Duke of Sussex is making sure to keep in touch with the organizations that he has been a big part of.

The royal has been staying in America since mid-March when nearly all governments decided to shutdown borders to stop the spread of COVID-19. Prince Harry was supposed to be back in London in April for the London Marathon but the event has been canceled due to the pandemic.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also supposed to be reunited with the royal family for Princess Beatrice's wedding on May 29. The event has also been canceled in the wake of the virus.

It's unclear when Prince Harry will return to his homeland as travel safety is still uncertain during this period.
