Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is fixing his friendship with Tom Inskip. Known as Skippy in the royal circle, the two men have been longtime pals but had a falling out, allegedly, because of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.

According to Daily Mail, Prince Harry and Skippy have plans to meet up in the U.S. once the coronavirus lockdown is lifted. Skippy is based in Washington and works for the tech company, Afiniti.

Skippy is, reportedly, willing to fly to Los Angeles and bring his newborn son, Albert, to have a playdate with Prince Harry's one-year-old boy, Archie Harrison. Sources said that the friends are back on track to mending their relationship.

In 2019, Prince Harry apparently cut off his ties with Skippy, along with his ties to some of his other old friends, after he was advised against marrying Meghan. Because of this, the Duke of Sussex stopped hanging out with his best friend, who used to be referred to as his wingman when Prince Harry was one of the most eligible bachelors in the world.

Despite Prince Harry and Meghan inviting Skippy and his wife Lara to their wedding at St. George's Chapel in 2018, the pair apparently didn't stick around after the ceremony and didn't stay to hobnob with the Sussex pair's celebrity friends. Speculations were that their friendship has been stained.

There were murmurings from Prince Harry's inner circle that Meghan has been controlling her husband's life. The friends blamed the Duchess of Sussex when Prince Harry dropped them from his life. Allegedly, Meghan thinks Prince Harry's friends are a temptation, even as Tom himself is a married man. She has been making sure that Prince Harry's partying days are over.

Prince Harry grew up with Skippy in Eton and they used to be inseparable. He was one of the people who was with Prince Harry during the infamous Las Vegas trip in 2012, where Prince Harry made headlines playing billiards in the naked with several showgirls. Prince Harry was also instrumental in planning Skippy's wedding in Jamaica.

Sources said that the trigger for why they are back to mending their friendship is apparently because they have a shared experience now as a father. The best friends came to a realization that they are losing precious time of bonding with their children if they remain estranged for too long. It's unclear who was the first to reach out.
