As the lockdown measures in the United Kingdom ease, the royal family can finally be reunited after being in isolation for months. But, it looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cannot join the royal family reunion anytime soon.

After they officially stepped down as senior royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to Los Angeles from Canada with their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. As it makes them thousands of miles apart from the royal family, they may find it hard to reunite with the members of the monarchy this June.

According to Express, come June 1, gatherings with a group of six both in public places and outdoor spaces, like gardens, in the U.K. will be allowed as long as people stay two meters apart. However, as the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic is still there, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip will remain in isolation.

Prince William and Prince Charles can finally reunite and may meet in the gardens of their royal residences. Other members of the royal family can finally meet, too, and catch-up, but not the Sussexes.

As the measures about international travel remain, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cannot fly out to the U.K. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is still advising everyone that only essential travel is going to be allowed. The United States also has strict rules when it comes to traveling on air.

So, when was the last time that the couple got reunited with the royal family? Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were last seen with the members of the monarchy during the Commonwealth Day in March.

It was the first time that the two joined Prince William and Kate Middleton again after they dropped their bombshell announcement in January, Harper's Bazaar noted. Although the Duke of Sussex had been in the country for the past couple of days before the annual event took place, the Cambridges were on a royal tour of Ireland for three days.

At the time, he completed his remaining royal duties before they officially stepped down in March. They were also reunited with other senior members of the royal family, like Queen Elizabeth herself, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and Prince Edward.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived at Westminster Abbey, they did not only get the U.K. public's attention but everyone in the world. This engagement marked their last official event in the U.K.
