ARMYs are arguably the smartest fandom when it comes to cracking the codes. They have been deciphering easter eggs for almost a decade every time BTS drops something, so it is safe to say that their fans are well-trained when it comes to solving mysteries. However, Jimin did something in 2013 that ARMYs are still trying to solve until now.

The seven-year-old mystery happened during the 2013 Melon Music Awards. A fancam captured Jimin enjoying a performance during the event. The BTS star seemed to like what he was watching a lot as he even spotted singing along. (Watch the clip here).

But while doing so, someone caught Jimin’s attention. The “Filter” singer suddenly locked eyes with this person and dialed up a charm. The normally cute JM turned sexy as he flaunted his gorgeous smile and bit his lip. (Watch the clip here).

Jimin then gave this person a wink to seal the deal. (Watch the clip here). After seeing the fancam, ARMYs were dying to know as to who that lucky person that the BTS star was flirting with was. Seven years later, the mystery is still unsolved.

“It’s been years now and the question still is: who the hell was he winking at?” one asked. “I’m so curious who he winked at? Another member, staff, or a fan in the audience?” another one wondered.

One ARMY even considered the fact that the lucky person may have not survived Jimin’s wink, which is why it was never known who they were. “Did anyone ever figure out who exactly Jimin was winking it? Have we checked the death records for November 13th, 2014? Because surely this person cannot still be with us,” they wrote.

Meanwhile, It’s no secret that BTS’ fanbase is not limited to girls. There are a lot of K-pop fanboys out there, but what makes things different when it comes to Jimin is that he’s turning them into fangirls.

Jimin is the complete package. He can sing, he can dance, he can even act. On top of it all, the BTS star is blessed with extremely good looks.

This feeling that Jimin is making people feel is something extraordinary. In fact, this phenomenon has been turned into a tagline: “Once you JimIN, you can’t JimOUT.” Meaning, once you’ve discovered Jimin, there’s no turning back.
