Jimin and V’s “War of the Dumpling” moment will forever be legendary. But what ARMYs didn’t know is that RM and Suga almost had the same incident in the past.
BTS fans first heard of Jimin and V’s dumpling war in their song “Friends.” The 95-liners sang that the “dumpling incident is a comedy movie.”
Naturally, ARMYs were curious as to what Jimin and V were talking about. That’s when they finally explained that they fought over dumplings before. Yes, dumplings.
Jimin shared that he wanted to eat the dumplings after their practice, but V insisted to eat the dumplings while practicing because he was hungry. The simple situation turned chaotic when VMin wouldn’t give up on their decisions.
The “War of the Dumpling” became too much for the other members that they forced Jimin and V to talk things through outside. However, the pair couldn’t settle their differences and continued to argue. But after a much-needed break from each other, Jimin and V finally ended their fight.
Jimin and V’s “War of the Dumpling” incident was definitely funny yet relatable at the same time. Many would agree that only the best of friends would argue about the simplest and silliest things — such as when to eat the dumplings.
But two more BTS members also had a food issue. In the latest episode of BTS’s new docuseries Break The Silence, Jin opened up the time when RM stole Suga’s food.
Having seven members in one group, it’s not unusual that one’s food will be eaten by another. In fact, BTS wouldn’t mind sharing their food with their members on normal days.
What made RM and Suga’s food drama different is the fact that the “Daechwita” hitmaker just had his appendix removed at the time and was recovering from surgery. He was advised to eat before taking his medicine, but his food was already devoured by the “God of Destruction” himself.
Suga shared that he left his food unguarded for a moment, and when he returned, he said that there’s nothing much left to his meal. “I was gone for a second, and there was only this much rice left. A third of it was gone, so I was like, ‘What’s this?’”
Luckily, RM and Suga didn’t fight over the food like Jimin and V did. But if they did, ARMYs wouldn’t be surprised at all.
