After years of pleading with YG Entertainment to fulfill their promise of releasing solo tracks for BLACKPINK members, the label has broken its silence with some good news for the fans. After Jennie's solo debut in 2018, Rose, Lisa and Jisoo will finally release their solos as well.

According to a statement by YG Entertainment, they have been working for BLACKPINK Rose's solo track for over a year. While the process took longer than expected, they reported that the tracks have finally been completed and will be ready for release after BLACKPINK's first full album drops this September. YG also explained that the process took longer than usual because they are planning to release multiple songs in an album format rather than releasing a digital single.

The agency said that Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose all agreed that the full-length album should take precedence over their solo debuts, but once it is done, the solos will be released in sequential order.

Apart from Rose, BLACKPINK Lisa's solo single has also been prepared for release. Jisoo will also have a solo debut soon after.

It can be recalled that BLINKs, BLACKPINK's official fandom have long been complaining to YG Entertainment regarding the lack of activities and promotion of BLACKPINK compared to other girl groups, Forbes reported.

While other groups like TWICE and Red Velvet come out with two to three comebacks in a year, BLACKPINK has limited to only one comeback last year with Kill This Love

YG also focused its promotion to international concerts with very little local activities to interact with Korean fans.Korean BLINKs also made sure to make their sentiments known as they hired an LED truck to be stationed in front of the YG Entertainment building to list their demands for Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose.

According to fans, they want at least two comebacks for BLACKPINK in a year. They also called out the label for its delayed release of the members' solo debuts.

YG promised to release BLACKPINK's comeback within the first quarter of the year but it was once again delayed due to Coronavirus concerns.

With its latest update, YG announced that BLACKPINK will be having three comebacks this year starting with a single in June. Another single will drop by July or August before BLACKPINK's first full album in September containing 10 songs.BLACKPINK also surprised fans with an epic collaboration with lady Gaga for the song Sour Candy, a track from her latest album Chromatica.
