As the COVID-19 pandemic stops all the TV and movie production, it also affects the Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 18's filming. But, fans will surely see the KarJenner family return in no time, as details about the show's continuation emerged.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 18 started airing on March 16 but quickly went on a hiatus after releasing only six episodes, ending on April 30. As just like many others, the KarJenners have to practice social distancing while being holed up in their own homes, and fans may see their quarantine life in the show's return.
According to Celebrity Insider, there may be two full episodes filmed that will show how Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian are staying in their respective houses. There are also reports that a courier has been giving them a new iPhone every week to continue their filming duties.
The girls seem to find a way to get around the pandemic and continue the reality series. However, there are also rumors that things are not working out fine in their personal lives. Kendall Jenner is the only one who does not face any scrutiny as of the moment.
Allegedly, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's marriage is on the rocks, and the KKW Beauty finds being stuck at home with their kids unbearable. Kourtney Kardashian also, reportedly, wants to leave the reality series and tries to help her former partner, Scott Disick, to cope up with his personal issues.
In addition, Khloe Kardashian has been facing much scrutiny from quarantining with her ex Tristan Thompson to a woman who is claiming Khloe's baby daddy is the father of her child. Lastly and the most shocking of them all, Kylie Jenner has been removed from the Forbes' billionaire list and even accused of tax fraud.
In an interview with Elle, executive producer Farnaz Farjam revealed that Kris Jenner was desperate to continue Keeping up with the Kardashians Season 18. Thankfully, people behind the show worked together to make it happen.
The girls have been filming themselves on family Zoom dinner and still making the confessionals possible by designating a particular room in each of their mansions. They are using tripods and iPhones to film all of their thoughts, emotions, and reactions.
A production member will then come to each of their houses every week to collect the phone and give them a new one to edit the 16-hour footage. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Farjam is confident that people will love Keeping up with the Kardashians Season 18 when it gets released in September.
