Daniela Ruah's Kensi Blye is one of the most essential characters within the world of NCIS: Los Angeles. There still a lot of interesting stories coming from here and some of these may play out in the upcoming NCIS: Los Angeles season 12.

Kensi has been a cornerstone of the series; she is smart, sharp, and ready to take on any actions. Moving forward, her story is still worth-exploring. One of the things that might be tackled in NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 is seeing more of her life outside work.

It would be nice to see her spending some time with her friends -- not just at work. Perhaps, she could go out on a trip with them and she could enjoy her time away from her job. But, apart from this, it's also interesting to see Kensi and Hetty spending more time together.

Hetty has been great to almost everyone, but her dynamics with Kensi is different. They may work together on a specific mission, which could further cement their relationship and connection. It would be nice seeing both ladies teaming up on a mission and taking down some enemies.

Meanwhile, there's also a question about Kensi's role in Argento's storyline. The latter is poised to be the Big Bad in NCIS: Los Angeles season 12. He has a lot of political power and can use it whenever he wants. Kensi might handle this crisis, which is somewhat institutional.

In addition, she may take on more undercover missions in the new installment. She could go for about three or four disguises this season. After all, Kensi could easily get into character and she could play better with it than anyone else.

When it comes to her love life, NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 will further explore her relationship with Deeks. We're probably going to see the two planning to start their own family. The two already discussed having a baby in the previous installment, which was refreshing and genuine.

Kensi and Deeks don't often go to this topic, but it looks like there'll be more conversations about it moving forward. However, there are pros and cons here. While both of them may want to have a baby, some conflict could arise in their professional lives.

NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 is set currently on the fall schedule of CBS, but there are still uncertainties here. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, cast and crew won't be able to start working immediately. Hence, there could be potential changes with its arrival.
