Jungkook is not as active on social media as ARMYs wanted him to be. The BTS star would post something once in a while, making the fans miss him even more, especially during the coronavirus pandemic when the boys don’t have many activities and appearances.
But on June 4, Jungkook satisfied ARMYs yearning for him when BTS released “Still With You,” a new song that the Golden Maknae wrote and produced. The group’s official account then shared a link to BTS’s blog, where the fans could hear the new track, which is a part of the 2020 FESTA.
Within minutes, ARMYs did what they do best — crashing the site. The fandom has done this multiple times before, even freezing all social media platforms when RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook go live.
Since many complained that they couldn’t access the blog, BTS’s Twitter shared another post moments later. This time, it added a direct link to Soundcloud.
Jungkook’s “Still With You” gave ARMYs all the feels. It featured the BTS star’s angelic voice. With the song’s emotional lyric, there were no dry eyes in the fandom.
“Behind the faint smile looking at me, I want to draw a beautiful purple," Jungkook sings. "I want to walk this road with you. Still With You,” the lyrics read.
Even before Jungkook’s “Still With You” was released, ARMYs were already convinced that they will cry on June 4 — they were not wrong. Although there was no description as to what “Still With You” was when the group’s account posted a timeline for 2020 BTS Festa, they knew it was going to be something emotional. And they were definitely right. ARMYs then trended the hashtag #StillWithYouByJK.
“This part really broke my heart. I’m still crying. Listening to his little heart and truest words over and over. Nonstop. All day long,” one tweeted. “Jungkook proving us why he's the ultimate Main Vocalist because he can do whatever genre he wants and pull it off beautifully. Let's appreciate his masterpiece,” another one shared.
Meanwhile, ARMYs have been begging Jungkook to go live or post something on their social media accounts as they missed him very much. But just like what he is known for, the BTS star didn’t go online as much as the other members did. But after the release of Jungkook’s “Still With You,” ARMYs are beyond happy while tears run down their face at the same time while listening to the song.
