Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now living in Los Angeles. As this place is known as the paparazzi capital of the world, there are concerns about their security. A former royal bodyguard predicted that something "catastrophic" might happen with the couple if they continue living in the United States.
Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the United Kingdom, they were protected by the best security team. However, as they chose to have a more private life -- away from the monarchy -- things may have changed, but they still need to be protected.
Simon Morgan, who used to be royal bodyguard from 2007 to 2013, told Insider that the Sussexes' new security team should know how well they should protect the couple. Their new securities would pick things up as they go along.
As they are relatively new, they may not understand the Duke of Sussex and the royal circle of protection like they should. It will be a "steep learning curve" for both the security team and the pair.
However, Morgan suggested that their security has to get it right every day, reminding that the bad guy only needs one change to do their evil plans. He also added that they also required to see the bigger and more serious threats more than just the paparazzi themselves. Surely, they could drive fast and push people away, but it is only a temporary solution before something catastrophic might happen.
As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle begin their new lives in the U.S., there are a lot of challenges they have to face, including their security. Allegedly, the sixth in line to the throne has always been in touch with his older brother, Prince William, who advised him to leave L.A.
A source told Us Weekly that the Duke of Cambridge told his younger sibling to return to London or move somewhere else that is safer. He is not only concern for his safety but also for his overall wellbeing.
However, although Prince William and Meghan Markle, reportedly, think to move elsewhere, the insider revealed that they are "staying put in California for now." The two recently started their new lives in L.A. after they officially stepped down as senior royals on March 31.
When they dropped their bombshell announcement in January, they revealed their decision to leave the U.K. to begin a more private life in the U.S. As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their royal lives, they also left the royal family and the protection that came with it.
