There are a lot of stories waiting for Sophie Skelton's Brianna Fraser once Outlander season 6 arrives on Starz. She is one of the most compelling characters in the series; she's been through a lot and still somewhat dealing with the trauma from her past.
In Outlander season 6, we're going to see what Brianna has been doing now that Stephen Bonnet is dead. He is the person who assaulted her and caused her a lot of trauma. But then, has Bonnet's death brought peace to her mind?
Brianna has gone through a lot because of this man. Just because he's dead, that doesn't necessarily mean he has left her mind forever. All the terrible things he's done to her wouldn't go away immediately and these things may still haunt her.
Brianna's friendship with others may also be explored in Outlander season 6. It would be nice to see her spending more time with Lizzie, especially with what we've seen in season 5 finale. Her bond with Marsali is also interesting to explore.
Since she's not planning to leave anytime soon, it only makes sense her bond with others would continue to build up. Aside from her friendships, her future with Roger is worth-exploring as well. They've been through a lot and their relationship has become stronger because of that.
Moving forward, the two may try to have another baby. It also looks like they're more comfortable and settled with their home now. But the question is: will everything last for them? There's still uncertainty as to whether or not they'll return to their own timeline.
Meanwhile, we know Brianna has engineering skills and we'll likely see more of these down the road. She's been able to put her skills to great use at the Fraser's Ridge. Her knowledge in science and mathematics makes her unique and this could further establish her role in the community.
Another interesting story for Brianna in the new season is her role for the Revolution. It's interesting to see how she'll prepare and brace what's coming. It would be more than just listing off several facts from the history books.
Lastly, Outlander season 5 may see Brianna helping Claire with the things she recently experienced. The former knows what it's like dealing with trauma, so she'll be there for her mother now that she's going through a somewhat similar situation. Brianna is aware that these issues wouldn't be resolved easily.
As for the release date of Outlander season 6, nothing is certain at the moment. Starz hasn't been announced the official premiere date of the upcoming installment. Some things have been delayed because of the real-life health crisis.
