Outlander season 5 finale is coming on Sunday on Starz, with the title "Never My Love." Things get even more intense here as Jamie goes for a specific and risky mission. Based on some of the preview photos, he is determined to rescue his wife, Claire.
Claire was taken in the closing minutes of the previous episode; it was dark, horrible, and traumatic for the character. Now, in Outlander season 5 finale, Jamie will do whatever he can to save his wife. He and others at the Fraser's Ridge, go on a mission to find her.
But aside from these people, Jamie may also get some help from others. He is an established leader of the estate and he has earned the trust of those close to him. He is not alone in this provocative search since there are other people out there willing to help him rescue his wife.
In addition, Claire has worked as a healer in every community and this particular era needs a good one. She has shown how much she cares for people and works hard for the sake of others. There are people who are also loyal to her and they could help Jamie.
According to the synopsis, Claire struggles to survive the brutal treatment from her captors, while Jamie gathers all his loyal men to help him rescue his wife. Although they are determined to proceed with this mission, they also recognize that it wouldn't be that easy and danger is just on the corner.
While there's an imminent danger, there's no indication that either Jamie or Claire will die before the season concludes. Perhaps, there are huge and unexpected twists, leaving some massive cliffhangers. Some of the stories may also continue in the next installment.
Meanwhile, another preview photo shows Young Ian preparing what's needed to be done. He is one of the people who will help Jamie rescue Claire from her captors. It's interesting to see how his fighting skills have changed, given that she spent his time with the Mohawk.
Outlander season 5 finale also sees Brianna and Roger's journey take a surprising turn. It still uncertain where these two are, but the synopsis suggests they're in the middle of a perilous situation. They could have been transported back to their own time, or they've gone further into the past.
