Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for nine blissful years but their royal aides have always been worried about their potential breakup, especially during their early years together.
According to royal expert Robert Jobson, who wrote the book William's Princess, royal courtiers have been terrified of a Prince William and Kate breakup because the Duke of Cambridge might go back to his wild streak. Apparently, Kate has such a positive influence on her husband that she has helped him prepare to take on his kingly duties.
Jobson noted that while Prince Harry's wild streak during his bachelor years made headlines, Prince William also had the same inclinations. He had an "air of rebellion" about him that he got from his mother, Princess Diana. Prince William also had the temper he got from his father, Prince Charles.
But with Kate's influence and presence in his life, Prince William has changed and developed much to the relief of the royal aides. They pin their hopes on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to continue the great British monarchy. If Kate was not in Prince William's life, he would have been another liability to the monarchy, the royal expert said.
During this pandemic crisis, Prince William and Kate have shown that they are quite ready to take the lead. When he used to dislike the idea of becoming the king as a teenager, Prince William has now been embracing his destiny with Kate by his side.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been busy talking to numerous charities and touching base with organizations even while in lockdown. Prince William and Kate have also established projects despite the limitations of actual royal engagements because of the coronavirus.
But Prince William and Kate can't do everything themselves. According to Hello, they have an incredible team helping them with their day to day royal commitments on top of raising three young kids.
The Cambridge has a new private secretary in Hannah Cockburn-Logie who joined the team just this June. Cockburn-Logie takes care of organizing the royal pair's meetings and, once the lockdown ends, she will be joining Kate on her royal engagements.
Christian Jones, on the other hand, works as the Communications Secretary for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Jason Knauf takes care of The Royal Foundation that connects all of Prince William and Kate's charities.
At home, Prince William and Kate have some order despite three very active kids and it's thanks to the nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, who has been with the Cambridges since Prince George was born.
