Prince William's latest photo with Prince George and Princess Charlotte shows how much he is committed to teaching his children about the value of public service. The image taken by Kate Middleton, however, has sparked a disagreement among royal fans.

Kensington Palace released the new photo of Prince William with Prince George and Princess Charlotte on the couple's Instagram page to acknowledge Volunteers Week. The caption indicated that Prince William and Kate took their son and daughter to volunteer and deliver food packs for vulnerable families across Sandringham.

The post was largely met with a positive response, save for some commenters who apparently noticed that Prince William had a coat and umbrella on him while his children got wet in the April shower. Another commenter said that that as a mother, she would also make sure that her children were aptly covered with the umbrella.

Some royal fans defended Prince William for allegedly not covering his kids properly from the rain. Other fans said that it's likely the kids were not stepping in tow because they want to play in the puddle and did not care for the rain.

Another fan argued that the focus of the post should be on the actual message of the photo, which is volunteering and public service. The original commenter then returned to post another reply, saying they didn't realize people would be so uptight about what was said. The commenter said it was meant to state the obvious as a lighthearted observation, which wasn't meant to criticize Prince William as a father.

Meanwhile, royal fans, especially in the U.K., are eager to see if Prince William and Kate will send their children back to school in London this June. Classes have reopened across the country in an effort to restart the economy amid the new normal.

Princess Charlotte's classes as a reception student (kindergarten) resumed on June 1. Prince George's classes as a year 2 student is set to begin in a few weeks as well.

Prince William's cousin, Zara and Mike Tindall, have brought back their daughter Mia to school on the first day of class resumptions. Mia is a year 1 student at a school near their home in Gatcombe Park.

However, according to reports, thousands of parents snubbed the government's call to permit in-person classes to return as the virus is still very much a threat. Many parents, allegedly including Prince William and Kate, are still opting to continue with homeschooling, which began in mid-March, to ensure their family's health and safety.
