Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently residing in the US with their son Archie after they officially stepped down as senior royals at the end of March. Many believed that one of the main reasons why they moved to Los Angeles is for them to be closer to the Duchess of Sussex’s mother Doria Ragland.
Now, a new report claimed that Meghan Markle’s mom has “moved in” to her daughter and Prince Harry’s LA home. According to a source, Doria Ragland had been helping the Duke and Duchess of Sussex out with taking care of Archie. The tipster also noted that the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana has a close bond with his wife’s mom.
"Doria has her own quarters and whilst a few of Harry’s chums have been ribbing him about living with his mother-in-law, he has a brilliant relationship with her,” the insider shared.
It was previously reported that Meghan Markle was not too happy that their move to Los Angeles was not going well as planned. An insider said that the Duchess of Sussex was “heartbroken” that the coronavirus outbreak ruined her L.A. move plans to be closer to her mother Doria Ragland.
Meghan Markle’s mother lives just outside Los Angeles. However, the Duchess of Sussex couldn’t spend time with her mom at that moment due to the implemented lockdown. Even though the former actress was back to her home city, she was, allegedly, having a “lonely time.”
As for Prince Harry, an earlier report claimed that he was beginning to regret his royal exit decision. A royal expert revealed that the Duke of Sussex was feeling “tremendously isolated” with Meghan Markle.
Angela Mollard shared that Prince Harry only has Meghan Markle and their son Archie during this global health crisis. Since he had been part of the Royal family all his life, which is known to be the stability of the British people, the Duke of Sussex feels “no real sense of purpose” during the coronavirus pandemic.
The royal expert even said that she worried about Prince Harry as he is “very connected” to the Royal family, and now that he’s thousands of miles away from them, he may be having a hard time in the US. Until the coronavirus lockdown is lifted, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be able to return to the UK to see the Royal clan.
But if the new report is true, then at least Doria Ragland’s presence will bring a sense of comfort for Prince Harry, who was very close with his mother Princess Diana.
