Kanye West is, reportedly, eyeing to expand his Yeezy brand into the world of cosmetics and fragrances. It looks like the 43-year-old rapper is following in the footsteps of his wife, Kim Kardashian, and other women in the KarJenner family.
In the new legal docs, TMZ noted that Kanye West's company recently filed for a "Yeezy trademark" to produce an array of beauty and skincare products. This can go from makeup to other beauty treatments, like facial masks, moisturizes, and other necessities, such as bath gels, hair care products, and even hygienic products.
It was also said that it might produce scented pine cones, nail polish, and aromatherapy pillows. If he succeeds, the fashion designer will rival the popular brands of his wife, KKW Beauty, and Kylie Jenner's controversial Kylie Cosmetics business, which also includes Khloe Kardashian's Koko Kollection.
However, Kanye West already tried to venture into this business before. To recall, in 2017, he filed the same trademark under the name DONDA brand cosmetics, followed by his mother's moniker, but it never went going.
According to Mirror Online, if Yeezy's new line will be a success, it will surely add up to his huge fortune. Recently, he reached a new milestone by becoming a billionaire, with a net worth of $1.3 billion.
Kanye West let Forbes magazine see his personal finances. Although it was revealed that his net worth was $1.3 billion, he insisted that it was actually $3.3 billion.
His fortune, reportedly, came from his Yeezy sneaker line, which Forbes described as "one of the great retail stories of the century" at $1.26 billion. He also has $17 million in cash and $35 million worth of stocks.
His other fortunes are $81 million worth of properties and $21 million value of lands. He and his wife also have several properties in Los Angeles and Wyoming.
Business Insider noted that $3.8 million of his net worth is invested in vehicles, and he recently displayed his high-performance tank called the Ripsaw EV2. Evidently, he has a fair share of exotics and luxury cars.
Kanye West is particularly obsessed with "high-powered, go-anywhere off-roaders." He has a fleet of Ford F-150 Raptors, 10 amphibious Sherp all-terrain vehicles, and the Ripsaw EV2 parked at his Wyoming ranch.
Howe and Howe Technologies developed EV2 to be used by the military. It is a "luxury, high-performance, go-fast super tank" that is now available in the market for private citizens. It has a tag price of about half a million dollars, and Kanye West can evidently afford it.
