BTS and ARMYs have a lot of words to describe V. But one thing that everyone would agree on is that the BTS star is a very sweet person.
So when J-Hope shared in one of the episodes of Bon Voyage that he has never seen a flamingo before, V took this information to heart. The BTS singer spotted a flamingo stuffed toy in an arcade and he decided to try his luck to win one for his hyung.
On his first try, V got a lot of points but it wasn’t enough to win the price. However, V’s goal was to bring a flamingo stuffed toy for J-Hope so he tried a couple of times until he reached the target, which was 30 points.
Upon his arrival at their apartment, V went directly to J-Hope’s room and gave him the flamingo stuffed toy. And just like what he expected, the BTS rapper was extremely happy with V’s gift. J-Hope then excitedly showed the toy with the rest of the members and Jungkook told him that V spent 20 euros just to win it for him.
The whole moment of V trying his best to make J-Hope happy was absolutely cute. However, it now hits differently after the “Inner Child” singer confessed something to the BTS rapper.
During BTS 2020 FESTA, the boys recreated their very first anniversary. They decorated the place, cooked their meals, designed their cake, and more. One of their activities was to share their thoughts and feelings regarding the members and certain situations.
V was sitting beside J-Hope and when they were tasked to tell the person on their left what they felt disappointed or sorry to that member, V took it as an opportunity to be completely transparent.
“Since three years ago… I worked very hard to be praised by J-Hope,” V admitted. “To get praise whenever I do something. But I felt bad that he didn’t get it.”
J-Hope looked stunned when V shared his revelation. Even RM knew that V was trying to get J-Hope’s attention and shared that the BTS singer would always ask the rapper a lot of questions.
“Yes, I asked him questions,” V confirmed. “I wanted to get close to him and get praise from him by asking those questions. But I felt a little bad when he didn’t see that.”
ARMYs have pointed out numerous times that J-Hope would be the first one to show affection to his members and fans, but when the role is reversed, he doesn’t seem to realize how much he is liked and loved. Many even jokingly blamed his zodiac sign for his oblivious personality. He is an Aquarius.
