Jin is the oldest member of BTS and Jungkook is the youngest. Because of their age gap, many may think that the pair has a strict Hyung and maknae relationship — but that is certainly not the case.

Even though Jin is five years older than Jungkook, the BTS boys have a tight bond that people would forget that they don’t have the same age. And while respect is heavily important in Korean culture, Jin made his members, especially Jungkook, feel that he can be an older brother and a best friend to them.

Jin and Jungkook would always bicker and annoy each other. And during BTS’s virtual concert Bang Bang Con: The Live, the boys continued with their normal behavior and their “sibling rivalry” was caught on camera.

While Suga was pouring his heart out to deliver a message for ARMYs, Jin and Jungkook were in their “Tom & Jerry” mode. Thinking that the camera was focusing on Suga, Jungkook decided to annoy Jin by tugging his clothes. (Watch the clip here).

Being older and more mature, Jin could have told Jungkook to stop it and listen to Suga’s message. But since Mr. Worldwide Handsome is dubbed as the fake maknae of BTS, he decided to play along with JK by stepping on his shoe. (Watch the clip here).

Jungkook was taken aback at first. The “Still With You” singer clearly didn’t expect Jin’s reply, but he appeared to like the idea as he repaid the favor and stepped on Jin’s shoe as well. (Watch the clip here).

But when Jin tried to do it one more time, Jungkook was slick and moved his foot right away. (Watch the clip here). Finally, Jin’s maturity sunk in as he decided to end his and Jungkook’s “sibling rivalry” by standing still. However, the Golden Maknae was still not done with their game and he stepped on the “Moon” singer’s shoe one more time, sealing the deal that he won the battle. (Watch the clip here).

ARMYs know that Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V would correct Jungkook’s naughty ways but they most of the time allow him to pester them. In fact, JK even ranked the members that he likes to tease.

But unlike most rankings, Jungkook listed multiple members as his top one and didn’t mention two of the BTS boys. The Golden Maknae chose J-Hope, Jimin, and V as his number one favorites to tease. He then ranked Jin as his number two.
