ARMYs are wondering why BTS was snubbed by Billboard in their recent article on Best Bets for the 2021 Grammy Awards.

In the article, the predictions released by the music chart left out BTS from its predictions for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist, Koreaboo reported.

This puzzled a lot of ARMYs who expected BTS to at least be included in the list of potential winners since the basis for Billboard's predictions were chart achievements, and sales records.

ARMYs pointed out that BTS has the bestselling album worldwide with over 5 million in sales. They also had the biggest album debut at 422,0000 without bundles as well as plenty of other records for their comeback album Map of the Soul 7. However, Billboard never even mentioned BTS once in the article.

Since their performance in this year's Grammy's alongside Lil Nas X and Billy Cyrus for their Grammy award winning song Old Town Road, fans have been looking forward to BTS stepping on stage as nominees.

It can be recalled that BTS won multiple awards at the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards last year, as a testament to their language transcending music and global appeal.

They also had collaborations with renowned artists like Steve Aoki, Halsey, Charli XCS, Zara Larsson, Nicki Minaj and The Chainsmokers to diversify their sound and constantly evolve their music, NME reported.

Despite not being included in Billboard's list, BTS could still be included in the 63rd Grammys official nominees, which will be announced later this year. The awards ceremony is expected to take place on January 31, 2021.

While waiting for the official Grammy nominations, BTS is continuing to make waves for its Bang Bang Con The Live. The streaming event featured BTS in a full 90-minute concert wherein they performed their hit songs of their ARMY.

The streaming concert was viewed by over 750,000 fans. This is equivalent to filling 50 stadiums with a 15,000 capacity.

Fans have done the math and it turns out that BTS raked in 22.5 billion KRW which is roughly $18.7 million for the performance. Each ticket cost 30,000 KRW.

ARMYs had no regrets about watching the concert because BTS definitely served up a performance level worthy of a live audience and even performed an extra five minutes above the 90 minute schedule, All Kpop reported.
