Nema Vand, who is part of the reality show Shahs of Sunset, is sending his apologies to Meghan Markle, his former friend from high school. Apparently, Vand said that sharing an anecdote about the Duchess of Sussex's life before she became a royal landed him in big trouble.

Speaking with Scheana Shay's podcast show, Vand said that retelling a story about Meghan on the same show last month was a nightmare for him. Apparently, he learned a big lesson about not messing up with the Duchess of Sussex because "people get really crazy" about Prince Harry's wife.

Vand said that when he shared the story of Meghan ghosting their common friend, Gabe, he did not mean that as a disrespect towards the Duchess of Sussex. He was actually trying to depict her as a "sweet and kind person" who remains the same despite Vand having lost contact with her old friends over the years.

Last May, Vand shared what he thought was a fun and cute story about Meghan who used to date Gabe when they were still in high school in Los Angeles. Apparently, Gabe and Meghan remained friends when she started doing Suits. However, when the TV series took off, Gabe said that Meghan ghosted her, which hurt his feelings.

Vand also made a public call to the Duchess of Sussex to reach out to their friend because he truly valued their friendship. But his story apparently was not welcomed by the fans of   the Sussex royals. According to Us Weekly, Vand is sorry for offending anyone, especially Meghan, and he won't be taking this negative energy any longer.

Since marrying Prince Harry, Meghan has put her life in Hollywood behind her. In November 2017, the former TV star decided to retire from showbiz permanently and did her last scenes on Suits.

A few months later, Meghan walked the aisle and exchanged vows with Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex. However, nearly two years later after committed their life to the Crown, Prince Harry and Meghan decided to quit their royal roles and earn a private income as celebrity public servants in Los Angeles.

Prince Harry and Meghan has been staying in her hometown since the middle of March to supposedly launch their new foundation, Archewell. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are forced to move up their plans for next year

According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan will focus on the Black Lives Matter movement and those affected by the coronavirus for their current work. They will make Archewell official at the right time.
